Training Calendar

We run together as a club on Tuesday evenings and Saturday mornings.

Saturday mornings provide an enjoyable, longer run at an easy pace, with distances of 5 to 10 miles usually available. You can choose which distance you want to run, groups of similar ability run together or ‘fish hook’ back to regroup as required.

On Tuesday evenings during the winter we are now meeting at Storrington Library car park.  In addition to the winter run sessions on the calendar there is also a group that will run an ad hoc trail route.   Trail shoes and head torches are necessary for the trail option.

Saturday morning runs start at 9am every week, on The Downs or in the countryside according to the schedule below.  In the winter these countryside runs can be muddy so we recommend wearing trail shoes.  We set off sharp at 9am, so please arrive in good time for the pre-run chat and preparation!

If you’re thinking about joining Fittleworth Flyers, you’re very welcome to just turn up at any of these running sessions to meet us and have a run.

After the Saturday run there is often tea, coffee and biscuits!
