Training Calendar

We run together as a club on Tuesday evenings and Saturday mornings.

Tuesday evenings are focussed on speed work, with interval and threshold runs. All abilities are welcome, even if you consider yourself a slow runner, you’ll find Tuesdays are rewarding and a great way to improve your fitness.

Saturday mornings provide an enjoyable, longer run at an easy pace, with distances of 5 to 10 miles usually available. You can choose which distance you want to run, groups of similar ability run together.

If you’re thinking about joining Fittleworth Flyers, you’re very welcome to just turn up at any of these running sessions to meet us and have a run.

On Tuesday evenings during the summer running alternates between Storrington, Fittleworth and Petworth Park. See the running calendar below.

Saturday morning runs start at 9am every week, on The Downs or in the countryside according to the schedule below.  In the winter these countryside runs can be muddy so we recommend wearing trail shoes.  We set off sharp at 9am, so please arrive in good time for the pre-run chat and preparation!

After the run there is often tea, coffee and biscuits!
